Park and ride from the Grove School

We are most grateful to The Grove School, for allowing us to operate for the second year a Park & Ride Scheme, to help the traffic congestion in Race Area. Coupled with the support of Stagecoach, who will be supplying the transport, we trust that this free service will help everyone. The Grove School is situated on the 2 and half-mile point of the Half Marathon route, in Darwell Close, of Harley Shute Road. It will be signposted from the A.259 (Bexhill Road) and the Battle Road, and we would encourage all motorists to use this facility please. It will be open from 8.a.m., and a Bus will be carrying out a continuous round trip from The Grove to the Start/Finish area, with the last journey being approx. at 10.10a.m. The bus will carry out the same function for returning to your cars, from 12 Noon onwards until 2.30p.m. Marshalls will be at the Grove School to assist you, and there will be a limited number of Port-a-loos at the site, but there will be no other facilities or services available.
