The Dyer Award for the person raising the most for a good cause was won by Jo Saunders, raising £1500 for St.Michael's Hospice.
Besides the Big Prizes on the night for Local and National, and Team Awards, there were a few very Special Awards. These included The Brenda Boyle Shield of Courage(Sponsored by Spire Sussex Hospital),that was won by Debbie ad Neisha Potter, who besides raising £1172 for charity for Kids, with Neisha going round the route on race day in Her wheelchair, helped by her mother.
Other Surprises were Awards for 'Lifetime Service Awards' for helpers who had been involved in The Event for 33 years.
